Texans Tom Savage Hospitalized With Elbow Infection

Early reports indicated Savage was not dealing with anything serious, and he was expected to be back at practice Monday.

The infection is apparently just on the surface of the elbow, not on the inside.

With Savage out of the lineup, NFL journeyman Brandon Weeden was the backup for Brock Osweiler against the Green Bay Packers.
