The proposed test asks students to formulate original responses to tasks like caption writing, rather than choose a single correct answer. But Caren Scoropanos, spokes-person for the College Board, which administers the SAT and funded the Rainbow Project, says, “We are always doing research, but I don’t think you’ll be seeing a creative section any time soon.”
