For $15, the Needham, Mass.-based Virtual Entertainment will provide an IQ test for your PC. IQ Test for Windows is an entertaining way to see where you fall on the dreaded bell curve. The 40-minute test is modeled on the Army General Classification Test, the granddaddy of IQ tests. (A score of 136 on the Army GCT qualifies you for Mensa. That’s the self-styled “high IQ society,” which requires candidates to score in the top 2 percent of the population on any of several standardized IQ tests.)
If you’re not happy with the results from the Army GCT test, never fear: floppy versions of IQ exams from Wechsler Institute and Stanford-Binet might be on the way.
