Joshua Dobbs threw a red-zone interception. Tennessee had five first-half drops and ran 11 plays in the red zone that resulted in just three points.
Florida, meanwhile, got an outstanding first half out of first-time starter Austin Appleby. He finished 10 of 16 for 213 yards and two TDs in the first half.
Florida is trying to extend its win streak in this series to 12 games, and that first half left the Vols’ faithful restless. They’ll need to be much better in the second half to turn those boos into cheers.
