If you remember correctly, Enfield took a shot at Floyd, a former USC head coach, in a recent article in Men’s Journal, stating “Tim Floyd shows up every day at work and realizes he lives in El Paso, Texas,” said Enfield. “And he’s pissed off that he didn’t get the USC job two months ago.”
As if the comments were bad enough, Floyd also accused Enfield of tampering with Isaac Hamilton a top UTEP recruit who asked for his release but wasn’t granted it because Floyd believed Enfield was trying to convince the commit to flip to USC.
UTEP and USC are on opposite sides of the Battle 4 Atlantis bracket, so the only possibility of these two teams meeting would come in the consolation round.
